Field Product Specialist (FPS) Eastern Ontario

Kubota Canada Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time Field Product Specialist (FPS) Eastern Ontario.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Improve dealer Ag products and market knowledge
  • Deliver sales, systems, and product training to appropriate dealer staff
  • Provide training and support for dealers on new and existing products
  • Work with dealer sales staff to stay current on Ag product trends and competition
  • Work closely with assigned PSM/RSM to ensure there is alignment with their activities
  • Assist in managing region inventories through NTO to ensure adequate availability and stocking of product
  • Provide coaching and guidance to dealership through engagement in sales management and process as required
  • Review history and recommend ordering quantities to dealers
  • Monitor NTO and inventories to ensure dealers are prepared for seasonal variations
  • Support dealer events and customer days that promote our products
  • Support national, regional and dealer events
  • Develop regional marketing plans to outline activities and top priorities for the region
  • Ensure dealer engagement in national marketing programs
  • Protect company assets
  • Perform physical audit reports as required
  • Support internal departments to ensure dealer compliance to rules and regulations


Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma, or combination of education and related experience
  • Bilingual (English/French) required
  • Background in agriculture equipment industries
  • Able to travel 50%
  • 5+ years’ experience in working with a dealer distribution network
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales plans within a dealer network
  • Experience and understanding of trade shows and customer experience
  • Experience as a coach, mentor, negotiator, business advisor, and trainer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Structured report writing skills
  • Excellent computer skills and online fluency (Power Point, Excel, Word) and on-line fluency
  • Time management skills – ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to make decisions based on sound decision making approach
  • Negotiation skills
  • Problem solving aptitude
