IT Network Administrator

Markham, Ontario.

Kubota Canada Ltd. is currently seeking a full time IT Network Administrator to join its team in Markham, Ontario.


Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Contribute to implementation and support of a greenfield business facility with 3 floors of office and 500,000 sf warehouse space
  • Support all server deployments, predominantly MS Windows, patch maintenance
  • Support Network switches, firewalls, and all connected equipment
  • Deploy and manage cloud solutions, primarily MS Azure, understand AWS
  • Understand and manage SCCM, WSUS, VPN
  • Manage and support telephony systems and mobile device management and policies
  • Understand, implement and maintain security policies, and monitor for intrusion
  • Manage and support wireless and WiFi solutions for office and warehouse systems
  • Provide IT support to employees as well as the Canadian Dealer network
  • Deliver projects according to agreed timelines and budgets
  • Implement new IT initiatives, and involvement in planning and estimating
  • Manage software license, tracking, and compliance
  • Work with external contractors, suppliers and customers
  • Develop positive working relationships with all partners
  • Track issues and cases with vendors and work to a successful resolution
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Diploma/University Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a business environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Understanding of Network design, VPN, IP security
  • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Azure and other cloud infrastructure
  • SCCM administration and management
  • Understanding of security strategy, Active Directory etc.
  • IBM iSeries (AS400) familiarity is desirable
  • SAP familiarity is desirable including cloud deployment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Problem solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Communication in French or Japanese would be an asset, but not essential
  • Documentation skills and ability to work with software such as Visio, MS Project etc.
