Kubota Canada Ltd. Expands Residential Mower Product Line with Redesigned Z200 Series

Operators offered enhanced performance, comfort, and convenience in three new zero-turn models

Pickering, Ontario, March 1, 2023 – Kubota Canada Ltd. – one of the country’s leading tractor and compact equipment distributors – today introduced the newly redesigned Z200 Series to its residential mower lineup, the latest investment the company has made in its commitment to innovation in the compact equipment market.

The new Z200 models are powered by an easy to maintain Kawasaki or Kohler engine with up to 25 horsepower, combined with a fabricated mower deck delivers commercial mow quality with speeds of up to 12.9 kilometers per hour. The mower series is comprised of three updated models: the Z232 with a 42-inch mower deck, and the Z242 and Z252 models, both available with a 48-inch or 54-inch deck. Each model provides an all-new residential mowing experience, from their powerful performance and ergonomic operation to attractive styling and enhanced convenience.

“The Z200 series is ideal for those looking for a high value residential zero-turn mower that doesn’t sacrifice comfort, durability or mow quality, and is ready to tackle any lawn and a variety of terrain,” said Barry Greenway, Director, Construction, Commercial and Residential Products, Kubota Canada. “This commercial-level performance is possible because of the Z200’s heavy-duty 10-gauge fabricated mower deck, which delivers high cut quality and maximum productivity.”

Enhanced Residential Mowing Experience

In addition to its high cutting performance and engine power, the updated Z200 Series models offer a variety of options and features, including Kubota’s K-LIFT mechanical one push lift pedals system which reduces the effort needed to lift and lower the mower deck. Making cutting height adjustments is done simply by turning a dial to the desired cut height. The machines are also available with an adjustable high back suspension seat, ergonomic controls, and class-leading vibration reduction to keep the operators comfortable when powering through long days. All three models are easy to maintain and are built with quality materials to keep operators mowing for years to come.

Professional Performance

The Z200’s high strength steel and deep welded mower deck provides outstanding, professional-level cutting results, while its wide-tread tires provide better traction and reduced weight distribution to help protect the lawn. You can accessorize the Z200 by adding a mulching kit, which will help improve the look and health of the yard by recycling finely cut grass clippings back into the lawn while the mower is in operation, or you can add a grass catcher to pick up clippings and leaves efficiently with two removal bags for easy disposal. The four-bushel grass catcher is available on the 42-inch Z200 model, while the six-bushel is available on the 48-inch and 54-inch models.

The new Z200 Series mowers will be available at authorized Kubota dealers across Canada during spring of 2023. To learn more, please visit Kubota.ca.
