Product Marketing Specialist
Kubota Canada Ltd. is currently seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join its team, on a contract basis (Maternity Leave Contract). This role will provide support for Product Marketing initiatives of the KCL Marketing Team. Additionally, this position will work with product specialist and agency partners to design and write effective communications, develop product launch marketing materials across all channels, general project management of KCL product literature to help to support the effective messaging internally and externally to our dealers and customers. This role has a primary responsibility of managing photo shoots in collaboration with agency partners, product specialists and colleagues at Kubota North America. This role will provide support to the Retail Marketing Manager to help ensure that text and information is complete and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and organize launch marketing materials for new products from conception through delivery.
- Work with Product Managers to understand the segment and define the scope of the launch activity required ahead of agency/department briefing.
- Coordinate planning, project management and development of marketing materials for new product launches within marketing department and with agency partners.
- Manage launch activity timeline and calendar, including phase-in activity and sunset of old product assets.
- Work with Agency Partners and colleagues to deliver high quality photo and video assets.
- Collaborate with Kubota USA colleagues to influence photo/video shoots that benefit all parties and are consistent with KCL visual brand identity.
- Facilitate development and execution of specific product marketing projects and promotions based on identified needs.
- Collect necessary information and content from Product Specialists or KCL colleagues to facilitate creation of marketing brief.
- Work with product management teams to help develop and print/publish new Kubota brochures and material as needed.
- Liaise with product divisions (Great Plains, Land Pride, Kverneland Group) to ensure that materials are relevant and have been translated or adapted for use in Canada.
- Ensure that new publications are added to KCL’s media platforms (i.e. Website, Dealer Asset Management Platform).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field is an asset
- Proven experience in marketing 3-5 years, preferably in construction, heavy equipment, agriculture, automotive or related industry.
- Excellent communication, writing presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (Fluent French & English) is an asset
- Flexible to varying priorities and workload
- Ability to travel to engage with agency partners, dealers, customers and attend photoshoots. (up to 25%)
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics for performance tracking.
