Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

Our Commitment

As part of Kubota Canada Ltd.'s (KCL) commitment to achieving an accessible workplace, our multi-year accessibility plan (MYAP) will outline our strategy and performance that will be implemented to remove and prevent barriers to meet our requirements under the AODA. KCL is committed to treating all people, including those with disabilities, in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. KCL believes in integration and equal opportunity. KCL is committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by identifying, preventing, and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under AODA.

Customer Service

KCL is committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities. This means that we will provide goods, services, and facilities to people with disabilities with the same high quality and timeliness as others. KCL actively maintains an accessibility policy and has the appropriate feedback procedure. Customer feedback can be submitted via email or phone. If alternative methods are needed KCL will actively provide them. KCL will continue to review the AODA periodically, make updates where needed and will ensure that any changes are communicated effectively.

Information and Communications

KCL is committed to meeting all communication needs for individuals with disabilities. All feedback is welcomed as we are actively trying to improve our resources for those with disabilities. KCL ensures that our feedback processes are accessible to all clients and employees with disabilities. KCL actively reviews its internet websites and all web content to ensure that there is compliance with the AODA. KCL notifies the public and provides, upon request, accessible formats and supports for people with disabilities in a timely manner and at no additional cost to others.

Accessible Emergency Information

KCL is committed to keeping all employees safe, especially during emergencies. Our emergency information is accessible and given to any employee that requires it. Where necessary, we provide those with disabilities individualized plans.

Employment and Procurement

KCL is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. In accordance with the AODA, KCL has ensured that all job postings that are accessible notify candidates that KCL is willing to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities throughout the hiring process.

Self-Service Kiosks

KCL is committed to incorporating accessibility features / considering accessibility for people with disabilities when designing, procuring or acquiring self-service kiosks.

Training

KCL is committed to providing training in the requirements of Ontario’s accessibility laws and the Ontario Human Rights Code as it applies to people with disabilities.

Design of Public Spaces

KCL is committed to reaching its AODA obligations regarding the design of public spaces when making any major modifications to public spaces and or building.

Transportation

KCL is committed to accessible transportation services, where applicable.
